Support OpenID
I don't use FF, and don't want to give you my Twitter password (and others might not use any of those). You support some great new technology (Microformats, yey!), so why don't you let me sign in with OpenID?

Thanks for your feedback folks! I do have a branch in my working repository (git) for OpenID. That’d be lame to try to support many standards and ignore OpenID :) Again thanks, and keep on feeding me with feedback, suggestions, bugs reports and rants :)

Make "favorites" and "favored by" public in the profiles.
Or at least have the numbers displayed in public without the user list:
Favorites: 5
Favored by: 3The reason why this idea was asked is because so I can tell if this user is popular or not when I view a profile. It's all about the information about this particular user.
I can also understand that this site is not about popularity of the users so at least, there shouldn't be a top 10 users who were favored the most.

Can socialwhois have an RSS feed aggregator feature?
Well... not really a full feature but a at least an RSS feature that tells other people the date and time you last updated on that site with RSS feed just to tell them how active you are on the internet.

Import contacts and auto search
I would love to import all my contacts from gmail, plaxo and/or outlook and search for them on all available social networks.

Support for LiveJournal, and MySpace.
I would like to see those two(LJ, and MS) in the I mentioned in the title first because I don't know how hard it is to implement any other social networks into socialwhois.
Then more of those general based social networks that people hang out at could also be added after that.
I know theres another thread like this existing but it lacks sort of detail.
Just imagine. All the people who hangout in other social netwoks blogging or not, get to unite here or something like that.
Just don't store any other social network passwords on socialwhois and this… more

Merge your Twitter and Friendfeed representations
I searched for myself using the Friendfeed option and filled in my profile. Now when I search for myself using the Twitter option it returns a guessed profile rather that using the Friendfeed one (which links to my Twitter account).

Add currently selected tag to own interests
When browsing other people you often realize that the currently selected tag is also one of your own interest.
It would be useful to be able to add (or remove) that tag to own profile with a link or a button. This would make maintaining the list of own interests much easier as you wouldn't have to go to the settings page for adding or removing tags.

Add IM Handles section in the user profile.
Would it be necessary for Instant Messaging Handles section (like whats your AIM, Yahoo, MSN, ICQ, and Skype) to be added to the user profile section?
It could be located between the interests and the links section.

Possible conflicting nick problems on socialwhois.
Let's say you want to create a new profile via twitter but another nick like that exists from someone who uses facebook or another social network profile.
If this was to happen, socialwhois should prompt the user for a new nick.
For an example:
"The nick you want on socialwhois already exists. Please enter a new nick."
So this new nick will linked to the new login name depending on what social network you use.

Ask for a optional password for your socialwhois profile.
For security reasons. It's ok to create a socialwhois profile through another site that you have presences in(twitter) but what happens if someone hijacks your twitter or friend feed account? Then this profile can get changed as well!
Thats why there should be a feature that asks the user if they want to have a password for the main social whois account. Let's say this is a secondary optional password for this profile.
If you did enter a secondary password, you could either log in to the socialwhois account using something else and get asked for a secondary password, or… more
